Our Products
ACCN offers a wide variety of aggregates for different applications. AEC aggregate is an extremely cost-effective material when compared to Primary Aggregates and Blue Phoenix is working towards a verified Carbon Footprint. There are also advantages logistically when using AEC aggregate due to the low density of the material allowing for fewer vehicle movements as this gives volumetric advantages over primary materials.
Urbase ®, an AEC aggregate is regularly and routinely tested to ensure that the products meet the necessary requirements outlined with CROW RAW Standaard Bepalingen Grond- en Wegenbouw and relevant European standards (EN 13242 EN 13043 EN 12620).The material is light, compacts well and has been approved by the Dutch Rijkswaterstaat and complies with BRL 2307-1 for civil- and environmental properties. The aggregates from our Dutch IBA washing facility receive the qualification of a NV Buildingmaterial (NV-Bouwstof) according to the Dutch Soil decree (2020). The majority of the aggregates are being applied as a bulk aggregates in road construction as base and subbase layers.
Material characteristics
Urbase ® 0-20 mm washed AEC-aggregate with good draining properties due to removal of fines bulk density. Particle Size Distribution suitable for many infrastructure applications.
Battery Recovery
Batteries should not be incinerated as part of household waste. Unfortunately, approximately 40-50% of the used batteries are ending up at an incineration plant. After incineration, the batteries are unusable; cannot be recycled. ACCN has taken a lot of recursions to ensure that batteries are recovered in our patented washing process. Covery rate of 99% ensure a battery free aggregate.
