Business Case Example

To ease decision making Inashco has made a business case proposition where the economic benefit is shown.

To calculate the fee amount Inashco will need to know the total amount of bottom ash that will be treated (150.000 tons) and the ration heavy non-ferrous/aluminium in the non-ferrous fraction (0-12mm). The ratio is approximately 30/70 in the non-ferrous fraction, therefore the content heavy non-ferrous is 0,29% (30% of 98%).

150.000 tons and an additional heavy non-ferrous recovery of 0,29% equals a yearly fee of € 450.000,=. However, depending on the non-ferrous analysis, the fee can vary between € 272.000,= and € 733.000,=.
